These sketches were done in a 7" x 7" Stillman and Birn Zeta Series sketchbook. I experimented with a variety of materials, such as watercolor pencils and water-soluble felt-tip pens, in addition to ink and watercolor. Sketch locations range from my home territory of Pennsylvania and West Virginia to the rocky coast of Maine.
