When I was a beginning sketcher, back in 2012, I decided to take on a 75-Day Sketch Challenge offered online by an artist I admired. The challenge was to draw every day for 75 days, directly with ink. No pencil or eraser allowed! I met the challenge, sketched for 75 days straight, and, along the way, gained much-needed condence and realized how life-changing it can be to make drawing and painting a daily practice. It made me look at the world differently and gave me a greater appreciation for the beauty to be found in the everyday things of life. As a reward for completing the 75-Day Sketch Challenge, I received an ofcial "Artistic License"! (See page 80). All of these sketches were done with ink and watercolor in a 5.5" x 8.5" Stillman and Birn Alpha Series sketchbook.

Whew! All done, and here's my well-deserved "Artistic License". :)
